    Veterans Day

    To all the old warriors here;

    May the wisdom of the aged American Indian be in your minds and the fire of honor, glory and bravery live in your hearts.

    God bless us all, God bless America.

    Same to you, my friend!
    Service members, veterans and those concerned about their mental health can call the Veterans Crisis Line to speak to trained professionals. To talk to someone, call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, send a text message to 838255 or chat at VeteransCrisisLine.net/Chat.

    If you or someone you know might be at risk of suicide, there is help. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, text a crisis counselor at 741741 or visit suicidepreventionlifeline.org.

    My Dad rarely spoke of WWII
    but would tell stories of his buddies and experiences of his 60+ years in the Legion.

    To all who are veterans God Bless You until you leave this life.
    My time was 1969-1977 has taken many decades to admit that little fact, saw a lot that will never be known by many and it never leaves the mind only time makes have less value to you and current times are more important.

    24 years active for her & 20 for me. We don't look the same as back them but our hearts & oath still stand for this country. God bless my fellow veterans. I am honored to consider you all my brothers & sisters.

    When I worked for the Mental Health Crisis department in my home county, I spoke with many vets who had PTSD, some so bad they were giving it to me. I talked with one young lady who had done a combat tour in Iraq. I told her I was a twenty-year retired army vet, mostly reserves; she thanked me for my service, which I had a hard time accepting. People talk down about young people these days, but these vets have shown me that even though times are different, our young service members still have those qualities that matter; self-discipline, devotion to duty, honor.
