    Anyone know the manufacturer and era of this ammo can?

    If packed in 5-round stripper clips for Springfield is WW2 era corrosive. The spam can is correct for that era.

    I have a Twin Cities can in 192 round, 8-round Enblocs that's non corrosive with almost the same font.... It's stashed away right now. The lot number is mid 40,000's.

    I was figuring it had to be older because of being in 5-round clips, but I was hoping for concrete info.
