Button buck 90 yds CVA Optima Noe 460-350hp

    Ok here goes .
Our muzzleloading season has been in for 8 days. A combination of unseasonably warm weather and full moon have been a real downer.
Between myself and a friend we have been either in the woods hunting or having the doors and windows open listening for shots
We have counted about 10 shots total that entire time. Plenty of deer on trailcams but only at night
This afternoon i decided to try again as we have rain coming in.
At 5:10 pm i see 2 deer working down the soy bean field edge. Yes still beans in the field unharvested.
Anyway they appear about 130-140 yds away
At about 95 yds the lead deer heads in the woods . i quickly aim at the last deer
Shot goes true . double lung shot on a about 90 lb button buck
    Thru and thru
Now the load.an NOE 460-350 hp powdercoated then resized to 452 and loaded in a knight 50 cal hi pressure sabot stuffed under 2 50 grain Jim Shockys pellets
O well typed all this and pics to big
I post them tomorrow when at computer

    About 10-15 yds
Since 2011 when i got the optima i have averaged 2 deer a year with the muzzleloader
This is the first one to go anywhere
    They are just DRT.
I have been quite pleased with the gun and the load. Up to 2015 i was using hornady 300 gr XTP's in Knight sabots. Switched over to my cast bullets in 2015 and got the same results
