    wtb ruger 77/44,357,22 wood stock

I just picked up a ruger 77/44 with the plastic stock. want to replace it with a wood one. I know that the stock for the 44 and 357 will fit. But would be interested in one for a 77/22 cause I think it will fit with some slight mods. I like to tinker. let me know if you have one laying around collecting dust. thanks

Just happened to have one right here in my hand. Has the butt plate and the barrel band still on the stock. It's for the 22 but I can see what you mean thinking that it will work, looks like the stock is big enough through the clip area. How about 25 plus shipping? Best regards, the toolman.

Don't mean to hijack but as a 77/357 owner I hope there's a project thread on this one.

Jmtoolman, are you sure that’s not a stock for a 10/22? I don’t believe the 77/22 had a barrel band.

It is a 10/22 stock, I missed the 77 on the inquery. Jburris if this is not the one let me know. The diameter where the clip goes is 1 1/4 across, and the outside of the stock in that area is 1 3/4. Best regards. the toolman.

    Mine doesn't.

I've got a 10/22 stock here. Don't need another. Thanks
