Question Any benefit to LR primers in 300 BO?

Was reading some of the threads about forming brass and ran across mention of large primer pocket forming. I recently started forming 300 BO from 5.56 cases and decided to see if I could put a large primer pocket in the brass. Well, I can but would there be any potential ballistic improvement in doing this?Click image for larger version.

No, the powder capacity is reduced compared to the parent case. And a large primer is not needed for 223/5.56.
