    new powder from alliant

    I was on alliants web sight today looking up some data and saw a new powder called sport pistol . has anyone seen it for sale anywhere yet or have any experience with it ? just wondering .

    It's made for the new-ish epoxy coated bullet craze going on. I've used it in limited amounts for Bayou, Blue, and Black'n'Blue coated bullets and it seems to be pretty good. Lower smoke than some powders.. Burns in the Unique range.

    Power Pistol is a bit blastier that I'd rate more in the Herco-> Blue Dot range.. But yeah, a bit faster than Power Pistol would be accurate..

    I've read a bunch about it on other forums lately. Someone was touting it for making major power factor w/ 9mm or 40 S&W. Or maybe the discussion was about its use in 10mm. Threads all jumble together and I don't remember what forum I was reading about it.
