Outers Co. makes what they call a ' Tico Tool ' for wiping shotgun bores clean. Actually they are used for oiling the bore to keep from rusting. I have 2 just for the same reason you mentioned faustus. Just google tico tool

I use Johnson furniture wax,this is a very wet,humid place but with the wax no rust or corrosion and it doesn't hurt the wood.After a few time you have 100% protection.
Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are,darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.
