.78 to .80 as of a month ago for me here. Mostly sheet from xray rooms demolitions.

That is a decent price for the current days , IMO.

    G'Luck!

Tell him I'll pay $.60 per pound

I consider anything under $1.00 a good price. At $1.00 per pound you're paying $.022 per 158 grain bullet. Obviously cheaper is better, but 2 pennies per bullet is fine with me.

Thats a fair price for most places and a great price in some locations! Me and Biggin just bought another 2800+ pounds from a fellow caster. We gave a little less than that for sorted wheelweights and a little more for some that was already in ingots.

Stopped to chat with a Deputy at the voting polls. He told me he had some soft lead collected from various visits with a telephone lineman years ago. He used to shoot competitively but not any more so he has no need for it. He invited me by his house to pick it up and make him an offer. I picked up just over 600 Lbs of pure lead and when I told him how much it was he asked me if it was worth $100 to me. I gladly paid him for it even tho I have about a ton of range scrap I mined for nothing. I figure that eventually, I find a use for pure.
Now I have to fini my Bullet Master so I can start my production line for boolits.
