Shot my first powder coated boolits

Technically, they were the first of my own boolits I've ever shot, 200 gr SWC in 45 ACP cast from range scrap. I was pleasantly surprised with the reduction in smoke between these and traditionally lubed with the same load (5.4 gr of W231). Accuracy was outstanding, I can't wait to cast, coat, & shoot more

I'm sorry, you're addicted now and there is no cure this side of the grass

You could try backing off the load a little less kick and see where the accuracy drops off.

Sadly, in boolit casting, the first dose isn't even free!

First does may not be free. Future pay off will offset the cost. Then its a spiraling out of control addiction.

Once I figured out my 9mm issues and successfully loaded a bunch you'd think I would be satisfied casting and loading a bunch of 9mm and leaving it at that. Nope. Now I want to get an EAA Witness in 10mm so I have an excuse to cast for that. And maybe start casting for my 1911. And my Jap Type 99. Etc, etc, etc.

    It truly is an addiction
