    What Brand of Cylinder Conversion?

I have a Ruger Old Army and a bunch of 45 colt brass and a Dillon conversion with dies for my 550B press. Who make the best conversion cylinder and where is a good place to order from? Or, I could just go out and buy a new revolver?

I have the Kirst .45 ACP conversion for my Ruger Old Army, which also works with .455 Colt and Eley, which I like it alot. They also have one which uses .45 Colt or Schofield.

Probably be better off with a new revolver! And what better excuse not to go out and buy one!

Although the Kirst cylinder does look really good!
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? I have a uberti 1858 Remington with the Howell cylinder in .45 colt. it is stainless steel. it shoots great. I keep it in the shop in the tool box because it is s.s.

although as stated you mite get another pistol. like a use uberti for almost what the cylinder will cost.

Best of all mine came with the throats already at .4525 so I didn't need to send the cylinder to you
