I have load data using IMR4350 but I have a good amount of RL-17 kicking around and was just wondering if anyone had any load data or could try their software to see if it would even be possible to use RL-17 it could be a no go in which case I can stop looking...

Apparently 230 gr and even up to 250 gr bullets used to be used with regularity for hunting in africa with the 30-06
I would love to find a mold for 250 gr cast bullets but I am sure load data for that would be even more elusive at least with sites like this some of the load info is not lost or is new as I am sure the powders from long ago are no longer available ether.

Lyman #3 shows a starting load with 208-210 gr bullets of about 35.0 grs of IMR4350. Having loaded jacketed bullets with RL17, I would have no problem using this data and working up carefully. In fact, I have the NOE version of the Lyman 311331 which casts bullets of 225 grs and I intend to try just that. I'll get back to you.

The Info from previous post above IMR 4350 43 grains = 2157fps for 230 grain bullet makes this load seem very hot but I know what one thinks is not always the case when it comes to reloading.
I have been reloading 180 grain with RL-17 it has been working well for me and as I said I have it handy is all, I don't mind getting some IMR 4350 to try I know it has been a very successful powder for the 30-06
I will be waiting to reload for now until I can see ether more load data or that the loads can be confirmed as good to go. I would be very sad if I damaged my pet 30-06 unnecessarily..

I loaded 35.0 up to 40.0 grs. I beleve you will find best accuracy between 36.5 and 38.0 grains. At 40.0 groups started to open up with little increase in velocity over the 38.0 gr load, however ES and SD were starting to come down so it bears exploring. Groups were fired at 50 yards from my 22" barreled Remington 700 with Leupold 3X scope. As always, use caution when reloading.
