    Diilon RL550 B -Value?

Saw this advertised on Craigslist. The guy is asking $350. He is about 45 minutes from me. Looks good with powder measure., tool head and low primer alert.

    What say you fellows?

It is missing the spent primer cup, loaded round chute, and loaded round bin. It is also missing the 2nd primer slide and magazine tube. When new, it comes with 2 primer pick up tubes.

Even if it’s rough, roughly $70 shipping and $70 to Dillion it will be all but new in two weeks. So $460 new, $350 if it’s fine and another $140 if it’s not. Looking at the pics, it looks good to me. I’d go look at it if I wanted another one!

I ended up buying it and it is essentially new. He found all the missing pieces except for the Small primer slide assembly. Ordered one from Dillon with some other stuff, it cost $22 and change. Ended up with no money out of pocket. Traded a couple of nut jars full of (9mm Nickel brass(which I found somewhere and don't use) Bunch of 308 ammo I picked up at a garage sale(don't own a 308), two 30 cal ammo cans, some plastic ammo boxes, and 4 pounds of Unique.

He bought the press a number of years back, tried it once and didn't like it. He had it listed for several weeks but no calls. I just hit it at the right time. Sure looks pretty sitting next to its twin.

as good as they are there a great buy at even new prices. Probably the best bang for the buck of any press on the market. They will load what 90 percent of us need. Ive got two lock and load progressives and to be honest they do more dust collecting then loading. You did real well.
