    T/C Makeover

I replaced the cheap rear ramp sight with a more traditional buckhorn sight and I stripped the bluing off the green mountain barrel and used about 7 coats of Dixie browning solution to brown the barrel.

the inlay is of a Cougar. Thompson center made a limited edition of the hawken Cougar.
I forgot to take before pics of the hawken with the blued barrel and the ramp sights.
I know these pics from my cell phone aren't very good, but I don't have a camera.

Looks great - you did nice job and it is one handsome rifle! From what little I know about the TCs - doesn't the Cougar he stainless steel furniture and look?

    Thanks for the photos!

Nice job, such a shame that T/C doesn't make nice rifles like this anymore for us to upgrade like this!
