What is the best powder.

Please help me with a good powder and load for the 38-55 Winchester.
This is my first new cartridge that I'm loading for in over 30 years and I have noticed that there is not much loading information for this caliber.
I have H322, 3031, 4064 and AA2230 that might be suitable, but, no loading data.

24 grains of IMR4198 under an Accurate 38-250D produces 1710fps in a comfortable shooter. I've also run 30 grains of IMR4895 with the same projectile for just under 1700fps. I plan to try Goex FFg next.

Theres a lot on Loaddata.com by Wolf Publishing. I coughed up the subscription fee to have everything at my finger tips. Lee Modern Reloader and Hogdon have a couple loads loads for H322. Lyman 49th and various others have a few loads for 3031 for heavier bullets. Lists for 4198 and Rx7 as well the normal fast powders.

my bud shoots the 375448 with 9.5 grs of unique under it in his 38-55
I use the 375449 in my 375 wincheters with a bunch of AA-1680.
I can shoot his rifle a lot longer than I can mine.
