    WTS: 50/70 Trapdoor

    For sale
    2nd Allin conversion. this is the shorter model with the 32" barrel. bore is exceptional. lock works perfect. well done repair at the wrist. original front sight has been replaced with after market one. Rcbs legacy dies included as well as a Lee mould and a .516 sizer die and some brass cases to get you started shooting this ol girl.

    It was made prior to 1899 and considered an antique (not a modern firearm).

    Would the 1899 date exemption hold true if it had been modified? Like in stock shortened or sights changed.

    As long as the barrel is at least 16" and rifle is at least 26" overall. Stripped receivers are ok, too.

    And the rifle is pretty much considered a blackpowder firearm anyways due to those Allin Conversions having cast-iron receivers.

    Only if made before 1898. Many Winchester model 94s were made after, and they need a FFL, the ones before don't.

    What if the firearm in question was a colt browning m1895 in fullauto? If it was made before 1898?
