    Commercial Bullet Availability

I'm trying to locate commercially available 158-160 gr RNFP gas checked cast bullets (for .357). I would really love to have the gas checked bullets for the lever gun. It just seems that the harder flat base (w/gas check) helps to stabilize the bullet much better at distance.

Thanks for any assistance in the search.

Check Gunbroker. They always have cast bullets for sale.

Haven't bought anything from them in almost a year, but I used to get rimrock bullets and am fairly sure they have some like that. Might be wrong about them having gas checks, but check them out.

I've bought plenty of 158 gr swc's from Rim Rock .... they have nothing in the 158's that are gas checked. I've looked at 8-10 bullet makers web sites and come up empty so far.

Thanks! The 160 gr FN-GC is what I'm looking for. I've been on that website a time or two .... not sure how I missed them.

How fast are wanting to push those RNFPs? Reason for the question is that I'm shooting a PC'd plain-base 162-grain (Arsenal mold) at around 1400 fps from my Rossi M92 for 'minute of Gatorade bottle' accuracy @ 100 yards. Might be you don't really need that gascheck.
