    Lyman MAG25

Purchased my first bottom pour....what was I thinking all this time? I love this thing. OK so lots of folks gave this a bad review because the mold holder didn't fit their molds....that is no reason to send it back! Just flipped it over and boom! Works like a champ.

Had mine for a couple years - one of the first one's out and have had zero complaints. I took my guide off and used a 1/4 inch thick piece of aluminum on top of a 2x4 for the perfect height for Accurate, NOE and MiHec molds.

Mine works. I just wish it had a stainless steel pot...seems like any lead pot should be stainless.

Does the Mag 25, actually, hold 25#'s of lead? Thinking about buying one.

Yes it does. Casting duration of 9mm / .38 with full pot is probably more than most folks want to sit through. .224's? lifetime supply!

Pulled the trigger on a 110V model, this AM. Natchez has them for $236.99 with free shipping on purchases of $49.99, or more. I have a 220V Pro-Melt but can only use it in the garage, where my 220 outlet is, for my air compressor. Wanted another to be used in basement or out on the downstairs covered patio/porch.

That's the sort of thing that usually happens to me! At least it's only $15, you'll forget all about it once you have it and start casting.

And winelover, for $230, you could have gotten the RCBS Pro Melt II... But they are out of stock and overdue.

The new Pro-Melt....just looks cheaper, compared to my old one.
