What toys are best for loading Moon clips for .45 ACP

    I have a S&W 625 that I really like.

I have a cheap hollow tube like screwdriver to pull the cases or unshot rounds off the moon clips.

What Devices do you guys use to load the moon clips or to unload them?

I agree with M-Tecs, I have tried others but the mooncliptool is the best in my opinion.

I'm using a BMT Moon Clip loader for a S&W 8 shot 627. Works pretty nice.

I have a pair of the California Competition Works moon clip loading tools. Dillon reloading sells them for $40. They work great,, and yes,,, I use mine for my competition shooting ammo.

    Great info thanks!!

I have tried the BMT Mooner and I like it bt it seems a bit rough getting the cases out of the clip and since it is plastic I wonder about its long term durability.

I have two of the BMT's, one for my 625 and one for my 627. Both work exceptionally well, and the plastic is delrin so NO worries on longevity, probably outlast the cockroaches. Thats the same plastic Harley uses to tension the primary and cam chains on their bikes.

I've used hog ring pliers from Cornwell to load them and a modified golf club to remove them
