Successful hunt with my hunting buddy

Had a good hunt this afternoon with my 7 year old puppy. First time ever using a 50 cal on tree rats as well. What a hoot watching them fly 6 feet up in the air back flipping.

    Good looking dog.

I bought an odd, Spanish made .32 muzzle loader I need to hunt squirrels with this year. Gotta get out and kill one more deer this year, then it'll be small game.

My brothers thought I was crazy using a .50 ml on squirrels but it seemed to damage less meat than a .22hollow point. Good looking gun and dog!

I used to use a .45 on them, 30 grains of FFFg IIRC. Then I had a .36 made and really enjoyed that!
