    Whisper loads for 223, 30-30, 30-06, 45-70

Great article on greatly reduced loads, always have trouble trying to find it when I want to review it.

Any interest in making this a sticky?

Make life a lot easier for me.....

I have loaded some REAL catsneeze boolits for my 223. Use your fireformed brass, no sizing needed. I LLA lubed a bunch of #4 buckshot, pushed them through a Lee 224 sizer, then another LLA treatment. Use a single base powder (I use TiteGroup), 0.7-0.8 grains held down with a pinch of Dacron, thumb seat the boolit. The only sound you hear when firing is the click of the striker on the firing pin and the splat of the boolit hitting the target. You can see the boolit in flight if the sun is right. Some say you should enlarge the primer hole, but I have not seen the need to do that. These will take down rabbits and squirrels at 25-30 yards.Click image for larger version.

Mazo kid that is just neat. I may try that in the 22-250. Maybe an entire grain of powder haha.

A single grain of powder will make a little noise, though less than a 22. The first time I fired these, I checked the bore to make sure the boolits exited. Of course, these will NOT work a semi auto auction, making it a single shot.

I may try this in my 220 Swift. That may need .9 grain of powder.
