    Auction: Steyr MIII Professional 270

I have a really nice Steyr MIII Professional in 270 Win up for auction.

It has a Leupold M8 4x scope on it. Classy rifle with a hammer forged twist barrel and really neat rotary detachable magazine.

It sat new in the box up until two years ago when I began planning for a hunt that never materialized. It has been shot 10 times to sight in.

It was an expensive rifle and it is very high quality I doubt you could touch today for several thousand dollars.

The trigger is adjustable and everything is quality and fitted perfectly.

    $600 reserve.

Auction is 7 days ends next Sunday, October 1 at 6PM Pacific time.

Thank you for looking and bidding.

Shipping fees will be $35 insured to your dealer. I'll box it well.

Suo Gan, I wish I could bid, my budget would only allow for an insult.

Probably want to put a minimum on this one.

Wow, what a nice rifle. Since I know it is probably out of my league, I'll bid the $600 to see what this ends up at.

The original plastic stocked factory centerfire bolt action.
I also wish I could bid. If I remember the ads right the stock is Cycolac and the trigger guard and rotary mag are Makrolon.

These are fine rifles. I have a 6.5x68. Outside of the impressed checkering and the barrel exterior, they are the same as Steyr's current rifles.

I threw the box out last summer. I bought this one and it's twin in 30-06 from a collector who had never shot them. The rotary mag seems nearly indestructible of a very good design.

    I don't really want or need a .270, but I'll bid $750

Found an extra OEM mag still new in wrapper. I'll sell it to the winner.
