    WTS: Thompson Center Rifles

I have 2 TC rifles that I'd like to sell.

The first is a Pennsylvania Hunter flintlock in .50 Caliber. While there are scratches on the frizzen, I can see no evidence that it has actually been fired. I have not. There is no box or papers. I am asking $350.00 plus actual shipping.

The second appears to be a Hawken percussion in .45 caliber. I say appears as I am used to most TC rifles I have seen have the name on the barrel like Cherokee or such. This one only says Thompson Center. It too appears to be unfired and again there is no box or papers. I am asking $ 350.00 plus actual shipping.

Brass is much shinier than in the photo.

As always, first unconditional "I'll take it" gets the item. Please make it a posting and then PM me for details. Payment via USPS MO or, if you don't mind the wait to clear, a personal check. Shipping will include insurance for the purchase price.

    Thanks,

As I said, it looks like a Hawken, just smaller. Same brass butt, patch box, trigger guard and forend cap. Both ramrod barrels are steel though. Double set triggers. No markings on the lock. Barrel Thompson / Center Arms, Rochester, New Hampshire, CAL 45.

    Serial # 35XX

    Hope that helps.

    They are both octagonal barrels.

The .45 measures 27" from muzzle to breech plug and looks to be just shy of 3/8" across the flats.

    Photos will be up tomorrow.

I'll bet that the .45 is a Seneca.

Your probably correct. Measurements fit. This is just the first I have ever seen without the model name on the barrel.

Pictures are up. Brass much shinier than shown in the photo but I can't get it to come through in the picture.
