Got one just like it bought it here on CastBoolits well made and with a 385 cast it hammers the steel plate at 200 like a sledge hammer.

I had two of them and used them for hunting before I picked up a smokeless inline for hunting. This one has shot a variety of bullets well including several minie bullets out of my lyman moulds. I hunted with the hornady great plains bullet which is about 525 grains. It puts a wallop on whatever it hits. Usually tracking isn't necessary and if it is, a blind man could follow it.

what twist is the barrel?

You mentioned you had a scope on it, are there any extra holes drilled into the barrel that were not originally there from the factory?

I bought the first Big Boar Dead Eye Ruck had up for sale on 10/2. I just received it, and it is better than described. I wish I could buy this one also, as they are rare. Positive feedback left. Free bump for a great Black Powder Gun.
