I ran across this while I was looking around & had never seen it, or heard mention of it before. I am thinking that I am not the only one. Apparently made in 1718. Well before our founding fathers composed the Dec. of Independence & more importantly the U.S. Constitution. In Particular, the 2nd Amend. of that document.
So, when someone says that the founding fathers could not have imagined firearms other than muskets. you can mention this Puckle gun to them & say when it was made.
This shoots down that argument, IMO. (< pun intended as it fits... LOL )
