    First time Grandpa

Yep, officially became a first time Grandfather as of this morning Quite a rush to hold her for the first time and doesn't seem so long ago I was holding her Mom, just after she was born. Where did the 25 years go??

Kind of a bit older than alot of you guys here, when you became a Grandfather for the first time, but very much worth the wait!!

We have five of them now, and I got to hold four of them the day they were born, for hours while our daughter in law rested. Great privilege, and they are all under six.

My grandson is in the fourt grade, seems like yesterday he was learning to walk.
I have a new shooting buddy when we go to the gun club, my grandson has a 222 Remington rifle I gave to my son some years back, I always have ammo loaded for the 222 when we go to the gun club.
Lots of fun for a 72 year old grandfather.

You're gonna love being a Grampa.
And merlin101, I also have 6 grandkids ranging from 14 to 3 years. Seems just the other day the 14 yr. old was brand new.

Use to battle the kid now and then, getting her to go to sleep, when she was very little. She never won the battle!! Took after my Grandfather, he battled with my niece for a half hour getting her to go to sleep when she was about one. Niece wouldn't have much to do with Grandad for about two years after that, she remembered losing and didn't like it.

Looks like I still have it. Granddaughter wouldn't go to sleep, so Grandpa got the chore. Not quite 10 min. and sound asleep. Haven't lost my touch!!
