Would like to hear from someone who has used this mold for 250 Savage. Their site shows it not in stock at this time.

    Thanks D

I have this mold and have used it in a Ruger 77/ 250 Savage with 10" twist. I had trouble getting it to stabilize and keyholed the target when I first began shooting it. (18.5 Grains - H4895) I ask for help here and was told to speed boolit faster. I did and it solved the problem. (21 Grains -IMR4895)

Denver--I have had good success with the .250 Savage cartridge in several bolt actions down thru the years. Boolits that worked well in all were the Cramer 55A, the RCBS 25-100FN, and the Saeco 25-100FN. All are nominal 100g designs. Perhaps you can locate one of these whilst you are waiting for Al to build his inventory?
It's all chicken, even the beak!
