What's the best way to determine if a particular brand of PC is harmful, as in abrasive? I know the MSDS is one way, but if you can't obtain one?
Thanks

You could just ask and see how many guys here are already happily using it.... if any. That'd be a good start.
Perhaps it's already a common one that is known to be okay.
KE4GWE - - - - - - Colt 1860, it just feels right.
If you're worried about it, you can be pretty sure that everything that smoke4320 sells has been tested and will work well and be safe for your gun otherwise he wouldn't stay in busines.
Not a 100% worried about it. More curious. Mainly when using it for older firearms where it is harder to acquire new barrels.
