I really don't make much mead, but what I make gets bottled and corked in wine bottles and laid away for aging

I’d certainly like to make some but I have doubts it’ll be anywhere near Dansk Mjod. I’ve had most of what they offer but the Viking Blod may be the best thing I’ve EVER drank.

None of the liquor stores near me carry mead. I would have to do an online order... Would be nice to try some different styles.

Mead is quite do-it-yourself able, just takes some time (If you're in a hurry wine can be far faster. Especially cheap junk wine -ugh- LOL)

Transferred the Cyser to secondary and off the yeast cake. It was ready for that. WOW does that stuff have an alcohol bite! Good flavor but definitely needs to age. Figure 2 months secondary then bottle it.

I have made Joe's Ancient Orange Melomel. Google it. Mead made with cinnamon, orange and raisins. And of coures, honey. Turned out very good.
