I have mine out for archery season. The turkeys are everywhere. One nice 6 point at night, and some does in the day, 14 turkeys regularly, twice a day, 7:30am and 4:15 pm.

A few coons at night along with one possum.

I have two more cameras due in any day now, I have one nice 10 and a couple of little bucks eating my potato patch every other night. So I set up a feeder about 20 yards from the garden, they bypassed it to get to the potatoes, at least I'm seeing them before dark now bow season is open but not much fun in the mid 90's every day.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Moma and 3 cubs. She has the 4th. cub there someplace. Can't seem to get them all in a photo.

Don't pay any attention to the date. I'm not smart enough to figure how to keep it set correctly ?

    Ten bender, great pictures.

Hope I don't get any bears coming in. They can be a real nuisance to my deer hunting. I don't like the meat, so I leave them alone.

I just set out a camera, half mile from nowhere.
Everybody sez deer can smell a half mile away, therefore, I set out some deer-pee-in-a-bottle, with a camera.
I'll let you know if one of 2 things happen:
    1. deer really can smell half mile away, or,
    2. deer-pee-in-a-bottle really works.

I have been using game cameras for several years, for the last 4 or 5 years I've been running Browning cameras exclusively. I put them out in late spring, usually the last weekend of turkey season and bring them in just before turkey season the following year. I typically use Trophy Rock mineral and set up in likely areas back in the brush. I have to make my set ups in out of the way places because I hunt public land. Click image for larger version.

Uploaded the wrong picture, but you get the idea, I get hundreds of deer pictures. I run up to 5 cameras at a time and generally have a couple of bucks I concentrate on. I have yet to kill a big buck that I have pictures of but I have come close a time or two!

Use a salt/mineral block, then set the camera to see what approaches. Check your local laws before though, here in TN we can have mineral blocks through hunting season but no food scent can be on it, so I use the acorn, corn, berry flavors ones preseason, then change them out to just mineral two weeks out.
