Auction: Remington 81 - 300 Savage

Let's do a 3 day auction. It will be up on Wednesday, September 27 at 5PM Pacific time.

This is a good solid gun. The stock has some of the varnish coming off. It once carried a Stith scope mount and an old Lyman scope. You can see the five plugged screws on the action.

I bought it as a backup rifle and it rode around in that case for several years. The case comes along with it and it fits under a truck seat out of the way until you need it. It can also hold two boxes of shells and a sling too. It takes half a minute to break it down and stow it.

I had an old Lyman tang sight on it. I am keeping that sight. I did put a rear sight from another rifle on it but it isn't all that great.
