    super redhawk boolit diamiter

hi all, I have a srh 9.5" bbl 44 mag. am casting lino powder coat gas check 240gr lee. chamber diameter is .431, bore diameter is .429. what should I size the boolits to. also any good deer loads are welcome. I have HS-6, H-110,unique,lil gun, 231, tite group, and Hercules 2400. deer season is around the corner.
as a side note I would like to thank RUGER. in 1990 I bought a redhawk for 300.00 used. shot it to death. the barrel came loose so I sent it in. they could not repair it so they sent me this super red FREE.

If the throats measure .431" I would size to .4305"
Pure Lino is no good for a hunting boolit. Too brittle.
Try air cooled WW alloy plus 2% sn or 50/50 coww/pure/1% sn water dropped.

Agree with above. You should be able to push your bullets through the throats with your fingers. Bore is 2 thou's under throat so should be good to go.

If a .431" will slide into all 6 cylinder throats with finger pressure, size to .431" and call it good. This is .431" after pc not .431" then pc..

Lino is much too hard. Try either straight air cooled COWW or my favorite 50/50+2% (50% clip on wheel weight 50% pure soft lead 2% tin) in a RF or other wide meplat style for hunting.
    Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer?
