    WTS: 1891 Argentine Carbine

This rifle appears to have been converted to present condition by a gunsmith and not "bubba". Has a ramp/gold bead front sight and Williams peep on it. Very nice wood. Barrel is worn and rifling is what I would call fair. I'm certain can be made to shoot. The throat is .322" tapering to .319" before the rifling. Grooves are .317". The crest is worn but intact and all numbers match. I only fired about 10 rounds through it as my 314299's tumbled. This will be a great rifle for someone but this is not the project I had in mind when I bought the rifle. I'll take $400.00 for it plus $45.00 to ship to your FFL.

Probably a good idea. I just have too many cast bullet projects to invest more in this one.
