Some may be more likely know these as 6.5X257 unless I am mistaken.
No, 6.5X57 is not the same.
It is different just like 7x57 is different than 257 Remington.

The Second there to protect the First!
The Handloaders manual of cartridge conversions says the 6.5/Roberts is also known as the 6.5x57 Mauser.
With that in mind there are about a dozen 6.5x57 Mauser sets and some singles for sale over on e-bay. Take your pick of new Hornady's, used RCBS and Forsters.
Also one RCBS set listed on e-bay under the following name 6.5mm-257 Roberts
“A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.”
Thomas Jefferson – Author of the Declaration of Independence and 3rd President of the USA
Not quite the same case dimensions. 6.5x57 dies may work for 6.5 Roberts in a neck sizing roll but is not exactly the same. load data is interchangeable though.

I am just getting back to check up on this post. I new to this. I will send P.M. for price.
Is this the same as 257 Roberts?????
As I understand it, this cartridge was developed so war bring back Arisakas could easily be made to shoot brass that was available at the time (.257 Roberts) much the same as the 8mm-06 was to 98 Mausers. Is this the cartridge we are talking about?
To be clear. the cartridge being discussed is a 257 roberts case necked up to receive a 6.5mm bullet. Also it is the 7mm mauser case necked down to receive a 6.5mm bullet. I also have some made from 6mm remington cases that I got a deal on once. they are all in the same family so to speak.
