    Marlin crossbolt safety delete

Im getting to hate photobucket more and more every day, stuff that used to be avaliable using a simple search is gone now because of them. That being said does anyone have the drawing for the marlin crossbolt safety saved somewhere I remember running across it awhile back but now it's just all missing links.

If people would simply pay Photobucket $20 per year to upgrade their account rather than thinking that they can have their photos hosted for free forever, the whole problem goes away. Can't help on the safety however!

What drawing? Have you ordered the delete button? It is very easy.

This is the drawing but because it's a photobucket link from a Google search it won't clear up any more than this. That delete button costs money making one from scratch is free plus I get to practice my machining skills for future projects like finishing my 20% 1911 receiver.

You mean $400 for third party hosting. I've been a paying member for a long time and they told me I had to pay up.

I think I'm the only one that likes the crossbolt safety. Had an incident where my hand slipped dropping the hammer, on a non cross boot safety, and I don't wish to ever repeat it.

I always remove magazine disconnects. Removing the cross bolt safety is no different.

+one on the magazine disconnects. A single shot pistol is still a pistol till you find a magazine. It would be a poor blunt instrument with the disconnect.

Yup! A "one shooter" beats a "no shooter" everytime.
