Does the M die expander work with all calibers or is it separate for each?
Separate M die for each caliber.

Below is a link to Midway to use as an example.( I am not promoting them, but have not ever had an issue with them. They are just an easy way to give an example in this case.).

You can see where you can select the caliber from the box below the price listings, then select each one ya need from the caliber list.

Here is the list for NOE expander plugs for pistols to use in your Lee Universal expanding die: http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/index.php?cPath=89

Hope that helps out a bit.

It's caliber specific with Lyman's. I really only use the 44 & 45 and adjust it to the brass. Whatever brass, 45 Colt, 454, & 44 Spec & Mag.

    Cool

I see the dies from NOE are inexpensive, and I can see now how they work, I think, nice, might have to check that out. Thank you for the links, much appreciated.

PS - I've spent enough at MidwayUSA over the last 10-20 years to buy Mr. Potterfield a new car. No regrets.

I did get back out, and my stupid phone won't let me download the pictures. Long story short, wide groups, but consistent, with every cast boolit tried, including the 62 gr HM2. So that little tool already gave me much more to work with!
