some of the pics might be missing from the photo-bucket fiasco but there is enough in there to get a sense of the area.
just imagine Wyoming, then remove the grass and the sagebrush.
Wyoming. 1000 yard match's and enough prairie dogs between match's to burn out 3 barrels. Right in your budget range also. Your biggest expense with be guns & ammo
They are up on the 4th page the NCBS 2017 thread. It seemed like fun to post some pics of the area nearby and the fauna so you could get a feel for it. The antelope herd lives right on the mountain overlooking the range and the town. There is good reason why the "Shooting the West" photography symposium is held in Winnemucca each spring and we hope to go then too but weather in March can be exciting in Nevada (bring shorts and xctry ski's as well as varmint rifles).

I’m planning a trip through Kansas, WY, SD and Nebraska next spring/summer. I’m a Cowboy Shooter from Florida, in the Single Action Shooting Society. Cowboy shooting on the weekends, prairie Dogs in between.
You can go shooting almost every weekend that way.
