    Yes there is an option there a pin thru the hole and a large cresent wrench that locks on both side of the handle on the pin. This will provide a real good "bite" on it sort of like a pined pulley.
    A soft screwdriver shaft will bend and a hard one may snap off. A shorter pin and cresent wrench will allow a lot of torque

    A vise grip might be better.

    Got around to putting it all back together tonight. Even after weeks of soaking in Kroil I couldn't get loosen the threaded part of the handle. I decided to not paint it and just use it so heating it isn't an option at this point.



    I guess the press was short a few external hitch pins when I received it. It's been so long since I took it apart that I can't remember. A quick trip to Home Depot and I was able to secure the ram.


    Now I just need to use it. Also need a cabinet large enough to store all my presses. Rust is the enemy here and I want them stored in a humidity controlled space.
