    Thompson Contender

    I have the itch to get a Contender again
    I have had one with a 7mm tcu and 300 Savage barrels
    I have looked but no where can I find what I am looking for I want to get a barrel in either 475 or 500 Linebaugh cartridges
    is there any reason that these are not suitable for the contender
    anyone know where to get the made

    Match Grade Machine lists both the .475 linebaugh and .500 linebaugh, but in Encore only. Maybe they consider them too much for a Contender?

    Yep, it's the pressure issue I think. Both run in the neighborhood of 50K psi...
