If I had to pick only 3 favorites for cast bullet it would be the 357 Magnum, 357 Herrett and the 45 Long Colt . Close runner ups would be the 357 Maximum, 401 Winchester, and the 308. For reloading with J-words it would be the 6.8 SPC, 270 Win and the 7mm TCU. If I had some good molds in .277 and .284 those might make the cast bullet list. The first cartridge I ever reloaded for was the 357 Herrett and I still have great fun with the wildcats.

I forget if I commented here. I'm at 17, not counting any combo calibers .38/.357 ect. My top 3? Probably 9MM (shoot the most), .32 ACP, and .308. Also 7.62X25 as a honorable mention. That is one fun little zippy caliber. Wish there were more firearm options.

    I load the following calibers:

    20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 375, 40, 41, 416, 44, 452, 458, 470/80, 50

I have loaded the following cartridges:
    .204 Ruger 22 Hornet 221 Fireball
    .222 Remington 220 Swift 22-250
    .223 .243 .257 Roberts
    260 Remington 6.5x54 6.5x55
    6.5 Carcano 6.5x53R 7x57 Mauser
    275 Rigby 30 carbine 30-06
    30 Remington 30-30 30-40 Krag 300 Savage
    300 H&H 375 H&H
    .308 Win .303 British 7.62x39
    7.62x54r 32 win spec 8x60s
    8x57 Mauser 8x50r 8x56r
318 Westley Richards .338 Win Mag 35 Rem
    350 Rigby Magnum 38-55 .375 Flanged 2 1/2" Nitro Express
    9.3x74R 400/350 Nitro Express 400/360 Purdey 416 Rigby
    450/400 NE 450 Nitro Express 45/70
    450 Bushmaster 470 Nitro Express 50/70

    Pistol:
    45 acp 38 special .357 mag
    380/200 9 Luger 9mm Makarov
    40 S&W 44 special 44 mag
    45 Colt .45 Schofield 7.62 Nagant
    41 Magnum 480 Ruger

    Shotgun:
    12, 16, 20, 28, 410

Only ones I don't anticipate reloading again are the 260 Remington, 7.62x54r(but looking for brass--makes great 8x50r), 45 Schofield, 40 S&W, and the 338 Win Mag.

Favorite 3? The Hornet, first centerfire I got serious about reloading, next the 470 Nitro, just because everything about it's almost cartoonish in scale in comparison to the Hornet. I've taken a loaded round to the club, sat it on the table with a 2lr next to it just for the reactions.

More than a few thought the 470 was a gag cartridge.

Third most favorite is pretty much all the rest, except the 416 Rigby, I think that has given me more grief that the rest combined with chambering/feeding issues. Still don't have it completely sorted out yet. There is a couple of jacketed bullets that are going to Accurate tomorrow to see if they can be duplicated in lead to fix the feeding problem. Nothing a custom boolit mold won't solve.

Above was my list from last fall, since I've added 9mm.

Added the 9 Makarov a couple of weeks ago.

And the 400/360 Purdey also. Much more fun that the Makarov, my fingers can hang on to the big boolits, not as easy with the Makarov itty bitty boolits.

I assumed that 00 and #4 buckshot were technically calibers.

I just took a quick look and there are 27 boxes for die sets. 2 are for primer pocket tools and 4 or 5 I have never loaded with them. So it looks like 20. What really surprised me was how many 50 round ammo boxes I have most with loaded ammo or prepped brass sorted by headstamp. Last time i checked the was over 80.

Near zombie thread but since I'm new to the board i figured I'd answer. Last count was 30+ if you count variants like 38 special / 357 Mag and 44 special / 44 Mag seperately. Also load for 12 and 16 Gauge shotgun.

Although I really only shoot the 357s these days, they do everything I can realistically want with iron sights.

Above was my list from last fall, since then I've added the 280 Ross.

Tough one to do, no donor case that exactly fits the bill. Easiest has been the 7mm Mag, after F/L sizing it is almost long enough (~.020" short, close enough) the 375 Ruger that is supposed to be the best option, ain't. Still a work in process.

I used to load for 9 different cartridges and then I simplified down to a pair that cover all my needs and at far less expense of time and money - .45-70 and 9mm.
