    Morning visitors

7:40 a.m. Two bucks, one spike and one fork, are obscured by the plant leaves. It's not the rut season yet, so the two does drifted off to the left and the bucks left together to the right. Great to watch over morning coffee.

Must be painful for you having to look out the window and see that. Bet the air smells really good there also.

Beautiful sight it is. We have a few doe in the yard but I've not seen any bucks yet. I know there around because these doe both have fawns with them. When I brush hog in the far back I spook the baby's, I feel bad cause their momma's have run off.
Turkeys have also shown up here. We never had any now we do. No jakes yet.
Our fainting goats don't seem to mind the company, they just look !

I'm 75 and had never seen a deer in this county until last year when there were five that crossed the road in front of me. This Spring there were three that ran through my yard 2 blocks from the center of town.
As the country becomes subdivisions, the wildlife has to go somewhere.
    Information not shared. is wasted.

We have had a Spike and two Does hanging around the Cabin since Archery Season opened on August 19th, also has been a Young Bear foraging around the neighborhood. It has been seen several times in the daylight, I have heard there is a shortage of Berries due the Cedar Fire that threatened us last year.
Livin' my dream in a little cabin on a mountain .....
