    WTB: RN 41 cal mold

I'm looking for a round nose mold, or something close to it, for a .41 magnum in the 170-210 grain range. All the new production molds I'm finding are either some sort of semi-wadcutter or far heavier than I want.

Since I know the question will come up, I want a bullet that will work smoothly with speedloaders.

The Round Flat 41028 or 410028 at 212 grains by Lyman may be your only chance without going to NOE or Accurate. It has been discontinued but a WTB might get you one.

You ultimately want the 410426 then I assume. It might be time for one of us 41 fans to put together a GB for Mihec.

    Thundermaker,
While I suspect you aren't interested in a RN as heavy as 240gr, I do have a older single Cav that I could part with.

By "heavier than I want" I'm talking about the 265-280 grain molds out there. When the bullet is so heavy that seating depth becomes critical to making it fit in the cylinder, that's too much lead.

If Thundermaker passes on this, I am interested!

That 410426 is just the thing if you happen to have a Winchester 1910, .401WSL.

That 410426, although heavier than you want is an excellent boolit. I shoot them through all my 41's, even the Marlin 1894 by single loading it. I like to HP it with my Forster trimmer. This is not a WFN by any means but it sure knocks the air out of whatever it hits. JW

That bullet style would work. We had a discussion about that specific mold, and it does not meet my needs.
