Need my mold to throw lighter boolits

Have the noe 200 gr sec for my 45 act. All my boolits are coming out at 215 gr. He Staes using 20-1 alloy. I'm using ww only right now. What can I do to lighten the load so to speak.

    Thanks Fellas

well, to lighten it you would have to be going in the wrong direction- harder- antimony and tin are what makes an alloy harder, and cow are already lighter than 20-1 I believe. whats the next weight up in your load book/books?

I'm not sure I understand the reason for the problem?
But, if they are the correct Diameter, then I'd just shoot 'em as is, adjust the load if necessary.

Use nickel Babbitt. It is almost pure tin. Makes bullets very light.

15 seven thousandths of a pound. Just look in your reloading manual and use the closest weight. To answer your question, less Pb, more something else.

If it was me I would not sweat 15 grains of weight very much.

But then I shoot 185 gr cast out of a 7.62x39 SKS. Dropped the charge a third, upped the weight a third. Slower, but still hits hard, powder per shot costs less.

Grab a reloading manual, find a bullet that weighs 15 grains more than your target and see how they adjusted charge. Be sensible, and careful. But it ain't rocket science.

As ghost hawk said ---try using the loads for the 230 gr boolit--
it is not unusual in using wheel weights for the boolits to weigh heavy
are you using tape on or clip? tape on are much softer --
softer lead is heavier and smaller OD usually
Harder is lighter and larger OD

RCBS recommends linotype for their plain base cast boolits (The 325gr plain base at least). I average 15 to 17 grains heavier (using straight wheel weights) then what the mold says it throws.

Thanks Guys. Not sure I'm gonna sweat it too much. These are for my bullseye loads so I'm being a bit picky
