    Smith-Wesson forum

Any members here?. Have been unable to log off this site and when I try it times out. Now some might say that at 11pm they may be busy. But not at 3am as I tried it this morning. Even with me logged in if I select a sub forum like the lounge it still times out. Methinks they got hacked but was wondering if anyone here who's a member has had the same problems. Thanks,Frank

An easy first thing to try is to toss your cookies. That is, find the website data that is particular to the S&W site and trash it. Then log on afresh. Often works with website misbehavior.

I've been on it this past week and no problems.

I'm using a Apple laptop - for me, if I go up and clear my "history", it will sign me out of websites automatically so that the next time I go to the site I have to sign in again. Don't ask me why as while I can use a computer, I don't know what and why things work the way they do.

Deleted all my histories but will have to do the cookies as well. Thanks for the tips and suggestions. Funny thing is that at present I'm using firefox with problems on two forums. If I use Google Chrome no problems. Frank

I have not been on in quite some time. I kept running afoul of the posting rules despite my best efforts as they are very fussy over there so just stopped going. Those guys do know their stuff, however. If you have any questions on SW firearms that is the place to go.
