I can hire someone, but then I must go up with the prices.

What I listed on my web page is "stock" or over order molds from previous Group buys.
    Why prices are not constant????

When I builded first HG50 price of brass was 5 euros/kg now is 7,5 euros per kg. Should I continue?....
Just a suggestion on a business lever, miha. You should always price your products based on what people will pay for it, not what it cost you to make. If it cost you a Euro to make a mold and people would buy at 100, would you be happy to sell it for 5 euros because it was an 80% margin?

On a side note if you have never ran a small business with multiple employees it’s not a ton of fun until you get large enough to have layers of management. Then once you are to that point your operating costs are huge!!
A one man shop is a great thing but production is slow and up keep is slow too because there are not as many hands to keep up with stuff so give him a break....
This day and age the McDonald’s mentality of hot, fast, and now does not hold true in the trades skilled labor is slower and true craftsmen take there time to make sure stuff is right!!

Just so you know yes I am a small business owner with 18 guys in our peak season and we can not keep up either but I take care of my guys and my customers the best I can!!
And yes some get mad because we are not McDonald’s... I don’t need them as customers!

The problem is transparency, not cost or time to finished product.

If the molds are as good as everyone says, a bit of confusion isn't that big a deal IMO.

In all fairness the discount was only originally set to run for what, september and october of last year? I bought quite a few of them at the 25% discount price...

I would chalk it up more to an accident by a one man show than anything else. Miha's molds are still the best value anyone offers... and for brass HP molds even moreso.

My dad was a tool and die maker. He made the dies for all those caddies with the big fins. He would work and inspect the work of others. If it did not meet specs he would call them a shoemaker and do it again. He worked for 42 yrs at Cadillac Motors.

How do I go about getting a tracking number? Seems a number of them are arriving to their respective owners. I'd like to see where mine is/when I might be expecting it. Thanks!

I don't think a tracking number will be much help if it has been turned over to USPS. About the only thing USPS tracking has ever told me is "It is in transit" or "it has been delivered".

I mailed an oil sample for analysis on 12/29/17. Tracking shows it was in transit on 1/1/18 and nothing else. I suppose it could show up at the addressee but I'm not holding my breath.

After two trips to our local messed post office, I have both molds that I ordered. They look great but be in use for about 2 months after the thaw.
Patience is the word when waiting for such fine work on the other side of the world.
    Thank You

Miha, I encourage you to ignore baseless fulminations and continue to offer us your fine products. I've bought from you for several years and I'm pleased to remain your appreciative customer.

The only thing that is baseless is your post. Thanks for playing.
