    14 lbs lighter!

After 30 training days as a Drill Instructor, I have lost 14 lbs lol. Best diet ever!

The duty is rewarding but hard. I'm looking forward to September 15th when we graduate.

I have a 90 man herd of recruits with 90 personalities. I'm in awe that these men still volunteer to serve their country. Fun times indeed!

Pretty heavy responsibility really, you'll do well.

Semper Fi, your post brings back memories of standing on Yellow Foot Prints and all that followed.

As one of the last draftees, I remember my Drill Instructors with respect. Some of them had been there, done that. Others were like myself, civilians whose plans had been interrupted by their friends and neighbors. They had one common goal; to give me the skills to survive as a soldier.

My memory must be failing. Where did you find those 14 pounds? It is good to hear you are doing well and hopefully your family too.

    I hated basic training.
I put on abut 12 pounds from eating so much food and getting so little exercise.
lost it tech school real quick though.
it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.
