Does anyone know anything about Jagemann Brass?

I got a Midsouth flier advertising Jagemann Brass in several pistol rounds.

I check the website and they had a few common and boring rifle rounds in pipeline.

I had never heard of them until I saw something in my inbox from Midsouth with some of their brass on sale. What caught my eye was their "black nickel" .357 mag. brass. As far as quality or even where their brass is made I have no idea.

Good stuff. I have a friend who has worked with them designing their magazines. I think they are making their own brass, not having someone else do it for them.

I'll find out. Just bought 500 10mm's primed from midsouth of the stuff
.02 each and already primed. Was gonna get the black nickel but it was unprimed and the same price as the yellow brass primed.

Manufactured in house would mean they are making it themselves in their plant

I was going to start a thread to brag on Jagemann 45 Colt brass I got from Natchez but found this thread already in the forums.

I measured 15 cases and they were all within 0.001" of the same length. The diameters were all the same by my relatively ordinary calipers. I FL sized them anyway and they gained 0.001" in length but no noticeable reduction in diameter.

The first 100 seemed to flare identically and I just primed them with a Lee hand tool and Sellier and Bellot LP primers and noticed no difference in 'feel' or resistance to seating the primers.

Next I'm going to load 100 Hornady 200-gr XTPs over Bullseye and shoot some from a rest with a contender barrelled for 45 Colt [NOT for 45 Colt and/or 410!]

So far, I am very impressed by the looks, uniformity and behavior of this Jagemann brass! Look out Starline [my current favorite]!

PS. I just learned that the first bag I opened contained 101 cases! Hooray for a business that operates with style!
