Even a bad day at the range beats a good day at work!

And it's so nice to see an unemcumbered AR15 Rifle in these days of accessorized guns. Hats off to you!

ya the funny thing was my bolt was dry and had to go back to my truck and let some oil drip off of my dipstick onto my BCG so it would cycle for my last magazine

Now that is funny and creatively accomplishing the task!

The rifle was a budget build I picked up all the parts used from gun shows it took a few months to find all my parts but the end cost was well under $500
the only new part is the barrel I could not find a 20" barrel used

I love the dipstick trick. My cousin bought a $$ titanium nitride gold colored bcg. He said no lube needed. I laughed to myself and sure enough around the third 30 rd mag it started balking. I walked over to my '67 Case, pulled the dipstick and dripped some less than pristine motor oil into those 2 little holes in the valley of the carrier. It worked the rest of the day.
    ARs do love oil!
