    Brno 22K Hornet

    Attachment 202544 Attachment 202545

Found the load I want. Now to set the scope.
    45 gr. cast PC'd, 11.5 gr 296, CCI S rifle primer.
    6 shots @ 100 yrds.
Just over 1/4" not counting the flyer.
    Counting the flyer 7/8".

I'm happy with the Brno !

Well done. I would be happy as well. If you don't mind what mould did you cast with?

Lyman 225438. Lyman calls it a 44gr. but it throws a 45 for me.

Have the same extraordinary rifle but not yet worked on it. Please continue to post your experiences. The pictured wood stock is much better than mine. Beautiful rifle and beautiful group you have.

Don't have a working chronograph . I have two but don't need them bad enough to send them for repair. My guess would be 2700-2800.
    Yes they are GC .

Impressive! I only shoot cast in the Hornet, but never tried any high velocity loads.

Wow! Now THAT is IMPRESSIVE! Great loading/shooting! I've been wanting to get a small .22 I can reload with cast, and have looked awfully hard at the CZ-527's. You just lit a fire under me, I'm afraid! Thanks!

Sweet. That type setup is on my short list of guns to acquire. I have .223s but want something a little smaller. Really nice looking rifle, and you've obviously hit on at least one winning combination for accuracy.

Just.curious but...... what do the other groups look like? I have always been suspicious of single groups being representative of what the rifle will actually do for an average.

Start looking for an extra magazine for the Brno. They are hard to find. It can take some time.
