Looking for a mag to fit in my very early rem 760 short action

I think they're all the same, the 742, 750, 7400 and the 760. And, I have a 7400 in 243 and think it's the size action as a 270 or 06...
well remington sells them as the same, but the current one size fits all does not fit my 1952 760.
243 is short action.
I have a NIB for 223
I am one gun away from happy
