    S&w 41

Just picked up a m41 S&W couple hours ago. Have to get some Target Ammo tomarrow to try it out. 41 is top of the line 22 match pistol. Might be a keeper if it
preforms like the one I had 40 yrs ago.Attachment 202514

    Beautifully made guns.
Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.

I would love to have one of those. My issue is, even if it performs like the pistols from 40 years ago, I don't perform like I did 40 years ago, so I probably couldn't tell if the pistol was the greatest gun on earth.
    Getting old stinks.

That one looks like a dandy. You'll have to give us a review.

Back in 70s I got into target pistols. Bought most of popular ones new. In 22s the 41 and Brn
Medalist were my favorites. Triggers out of box were better that Hi Standard or Colt of the time.
Got into Pre 64 Win M70s and let most of the target stuff go. Hind sight is 20/20, I would just
like to have all the Krags, 03s, and 98s that went through my hands when they were $20, not
to mention the other junk like Japs & Carcanos, ect. The value of that stuff percentage wise is
crazy 3000% on some of it. A lot of the off the wall militaries Norma was only ammo. A box of
their ammo cost more than what the gun was worth.

I tried to talk my friend out of his when he wanted me to mount a scope on it. He won out and we mounted a 2.5x Leupold on it. He still has it 30 yrs and a truck bed of squirrels later. It will outshoot a lot of rifles at 100 yds.

That gun has a hole in the barrel! You better send it to me before all your bullets fall out. 22's are still pretty hard to come by.
Those are great guns. Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Nice looking S&W. I need to find one to round out my collection of target 22s which currently includes Woodsmans and and High Standards.

You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

Pick up some CCI SV and give it a try. Most 41 owners love it.

These are one of my dream guns. I had use of one for a few months, and it was AWESOME. Soon after that, I had use of a Walther GSP-C with 2 of the 3 upper halves made for the older variants--22 LR and 32 S&W Long WC (no 22 Short upper came with the kit). The GSP in 32 remains the most accurate centerfire handgun I have ever fired; the GSP x 22 was pretty much even-up with the S&W M-41.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

ive had two of them. there a great gun but that said for a comp gun theres a better choice. Ive got a couple heavy barreled rugers that shoot as well and are just as reliable, a lot cheaper and aftermarket support for them is endless. A little trigger work and most are good to go. May not be as classy but classy doesn't win the match.

Great pistol. I could not afford one when I was good enough to shoot Bullseye. Not the best .22 I ever shot. That title goes to the Walther GSP. Personal preference.

    Nice buy!!

    Very nice!!!

There's something to be said for quality firearms. They never go down in value and the owners can enjoy excellent quality range time with them for decades. Then sell them at 300%/400%+ profits. It's nice to get paid for using/shooting quality firearms.
